Here’s another fantastic interview with Maggie, she goes into great detail about what we can expect to see in the upcoming episodes and other exciting developments. Be sure to take a read!

IGN: After the events of the last episode, it looks like things are definitely changing on Nikita.

Maggie Q: Well, things have gotten a little more complicated. Alex graduating was premature, to say the very least. Nikita wasn’t planning on it being that early. She trained her well, but I think a little too well. Obviously she certainly is more valuable on the inside, but it would be okay if she left and they could become a team. But they can’t do that either. Not yet. Alex is being monitored and there are things you’ll find out when we come back from the break that doesn’t really allow them that. They do get to see each other from time to time, but the logistics have just been upped for Nikita, in terms of keeping her safe and their relationship and all that. It was a little bit easier when she was in Division.

After months of hard work, we’re finally able to share our hard work with you guys! We’ve been working hard on the site since early November so it is of course very satisfying and exciting for both Hilary and myself. For now Maggie Q Online consists of a main news page, information pages and a gallery with over 9,000 images. We hope to expand our network in the near future to ensure that everything you could ever wish for as a Maggie fan can be found right here on the site. That includes video streaming, graphics and more.

Right now, the main site content is around 90% complete and we’ll be working hard within the next couple of days to ensure that everything is completed to a high quality. So enjoy the site and be sure to spread the word. We’re also looking for affiliates so be sure to apply if you have a site of your own. Thanks for visiting!

When Maggie Q first arrived in Hong Kong in 1997, she was 18 years old – broke, beautiful and utterly alone. Known then as Maggie Quigley, a Hawaiian girl of American and Vietnamese heritage, she got off the plane at the old Kai Tak airport with just one US$20 bill in her pocket, two huge suitcases and the phone number of a modeling agent she had never spoken with – her sole contact in the city. Seven-and-a-half tumultuous years later, she departed Hong Kong one of the most recognizable faces in China, jetting to Los Angeles to accept a role opposite Tom Cruise in the biggest action movie of the year: Mission Impossible 3. She has seldom looked back – mostly because, for the past few years, she hasn’t had a moment to spare.

Immediately following Mission Impossible, Q was cast as an exotic foil to Bruce Willis in Die Hard 4.0; after which, she was soon seen leading an imperial army across the Gobi Desert in the Chinese period action drama Three Kingdoms, co-starring Andy Lau. In essence, Q’s story traces the timeworn arc of the American dream, except that Hong Kong, China, is the place that made it all possible. From misfit American teenager, to Asian supermodel, to struggling Hong Kong action actress, to international screen star, Q’s ascension has been fast, rocky and improbable at every turn. “Maggie is the only young talent of her generation to come out of the Hong Kong system and make the transition to Hollywood success,” says local film producer and Hong Kong cinema expert Bey Logan, who was one of Q’s confidants and frequent collaborators during her later Hong Kong days.
