Really hope this turns out to be true, the show is just too good to last just one season and there is so much more to be told. Fingers crossed The CW makes the right call!
Xander Berkeley has revealed that he believes a second season of Nikita is “likely” to be ordered.
The actor appears in The CW drama as Percy, the head of secret organisation Division. Speaking to Digital Spy, Berkeley admitted that he believes there has been enough interest in the show to justify doing more.
“It seems likely to me,” he said. “They’ve invested a lot into this happening and there’s enough of a following to warrant further investment in another season at least I think.”
However, the former 24 star confessed that he does not “track” viewer feedback on the show, which also stars Maggie Q and Lyndsey Fonseca.
“It’s one of those things where I feel I get distracted if I start to read everything that people are saying,” he said. “I just try and play it the best I can and roll with what happens.
“I hope the fans are out there – I get some nice letters, sign pictures for people that are watching the show and I’m always excited to see that there are fans out there and people on the street that are into it. You really do hope that you are reaching people and that they’re getting a kick out of it.”
